Return policy

At MX-5 Centre, customer satisfaction and transparency are our top priorities. Whether you have ordered a new or used part, we are here to help if something is not as expected. Below you will find information about our procedures for returns, transport damage and incorrectly supplied items.

Received the wrong item? We'll make it right.
Have you received the wrong item or is something missing from your order? Please contact us, preferably within 14 days of receiving your order, at info@mx5centre.com.
After reviewing your request, we will provide you with a prepaid return label or return link if required. Once we have received and inspected the returned item, we will either send you a replacement or refund your purchase.

Damaged on Arrival (Transport Damage)
Has your order been damaged during transport? We are sorry to hear that and will do everything we can to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
What do we ask from you?
If the package is visibly damaged upon delivery, we recommend refusing the delivery whenever possible. This allows the carrier to record the damage immediately and helps us process your claim more quickly.
Have you already accepted the parcel? No problem. Please contact us as soon as possible at info@mx5centre.com and include the following photos:
* The outside of the parcel.
* The internal packaging.
* A clear photo of the shipping label showing the barcode and address.
* A photo of the opened parcel taken from above, with the contents clearly visible.
* A clear photo of the damaged item in its entirety.
* Any close-up photos showing the damage in detail.
Please keep the damaged item and all original packaging until your claim has been fully resolved.
What happens next?
Once we receive your report at info@mx5centre.com, we will assess the damage. If it is confirmed as transport damage, we will provide you with a prepaid return label or return link free of charge.
After we have received the returned item, we will either send you a replacement product (subject to availability) or issue a refund.
We aim to process every claim as quickly as possible.

Ordered the Wrong Part?
It can happen that a part turns out not to be suitable for your vehicle or that the wrong item was ordered by mistake. No problem, you may still return the item.
Please contact us in advance at info@mx5centre.com so that we can process your return as quickly as possible.
Return Conditions
* The item must be returned complete and in its original condition.
* The item must not show any damage or signs of use resulting from installation, incorrect fitting or improper handling.
* Returned items must be packaged carefully to prevent damage during transit.
* Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise agreed.
Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item. If it is returned in good condition, we will process your return and issue a refund in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
If you cancel and return your entire order, you will receive a refund of both the purchase price and the standard outbound shipping costs. If you return only part of your order, only the returned item(s) will be refunded, and the original outbound shipping costs will not be reimbursed.

Used Parts
Used parts may also be returned.
All of our used parts are technically inspected before dispatch and are marked with a discreet identification mark. This mark is used solely to verify that the part was originally supplied by MX-5 Centre.
A used part may be returned provided that:
* it is in the same condition as when it was delivered;
* it does not show any damage or signs of use resulting from installation or improper use;
* the identification mark is still present.
Parts that have been damaged as a result of installation, removal, improper use or any other handling that has caused a loss in value may be refused in whole or in part. Where permitted by law, we reserve the right to deduct any resulting loss in value from the amount refunded.

Check the Part Before Installation
Automotive parts are often specific to a particular model, engine type or vehicle specification.
Before installing the part, always check that it is suitable for your vehicle.
If you are unsure, please contact us in advance at info@mx5centre.com. We will be happy to help you verify that you have the correct part, helping to prevent unnecessary returns and damage.

Items We Are Unable to Accept for Return
Unfortunately, there are certain situations in which we cannot accept a return, including when:
* the item has been custom-made or modified specifically for the customer;
* the item has been damaged as a result of improper use, incorrect installation or removal;
* essential parts or components are missing;
* the item is no longer in a condition that allows it to be resold.
If a returned item does not fully meet the conditions above, we will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis and inform you of our decision.

What Happens After We Receive Your Return?
Once your return has been received, we will inspect, among other things:
* whether the item is complete;
* the overall condition of the item;
* any damage or signs of use;
* the presence of our identification mark (for used parts).
If everything is in order, we will process your return as quickly as possible. Any refund will be issued within the applicable legal timeframe.
If we identify any issues with the returned item, we will of course contact you before proceeding further.

Tips for a Smooth Return
* Pack the item carefully to prevent damage during return shipping.
* If possible, include a copy of your invoice or packing slip.
* Use the original packaging whenever possible.
* Please include the return form that you will receive after registering your return request.

Business Customers (B2B)
Different return conditions apply to business orders.
The statutory right of withdrawal applies to consumers only. Returns from business customers are accepted only with our prior agreement.

We reserve the right to amend this Return Policy. The Return Policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to your order, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
