Return policy
At De Cabriohoeve, customer satisfaction and clarity are paramount. Whether you have ordered a new or used part, we are happy to help if something is not to your satisfaction. Below you can read exactly what you can expect from us – and what we ask of you.
Incorrect delivery? We will resolve it.
Has something gone wrong with your order? Have you received the wrong item or was it damaged on arrival?
Please let us know within 14 days of receipt via [e-mail address or return form].
We will send you a return label or return link free of charge. After receiving the return shipment, you will receive a replacement product or a refund of your purchase price.
Did you order the wrong item? You may return it, but you will have to pay the shipping costs.
Did you order an item that does not fit or is not needed after all? You may return it within 14 days of receipt.
Conditions for returns on your own initiative:
• The product must be unused and in its original condition.
• Notify us of your return in advance via [return page or e-mail address].
• You are responsible for the costs of returning the item.
Once we have received the item in good condition, we will refund the purchase price (excluding shipping costs).
Used parts – also eligible for return
We also offer used parts. These have been technically checked and discreetly marked so that we can identify them as coming from us.
Used parts can be returned within 14 days, provided that:
• The item is in the same condition as when it was delivered.
• It has not been assembled or used.
• Our marking is still present.
Please note: we cannot accept parts that show signs of assembly or use.
Exceptions – these items cannot be returned
For technical reasons, the following items cannot be returned:
• Custom-made products or specially ordered parts.
• Electrical parts whose seal has been broken.
• Items that have been assembled, used or damaged.
Right of withdrawal for consumers (EU-legislation)
As a private customer within the EU, you have the right of withdrawal.
This means that you can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving any reason.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the item.
You will then receive a full refund of the purchase price, including any standard shipping costs. Only the costs of returning the item are at your expense.
Please note: this right of withdrawal does not apply to business orders.
Practical information: what happens when you return an item?
Upon receipt of your return, we will check the item for:
• Completeness
• Signs of use or damage
• Presence of our marking (for used parts)
If everything is in order, we will process your return and you will receive your refund within 14 days (usually sooner). If there is damage or something is missing, we will contact you.
Tips for a smooth return:
• Pack parts well, especially fragile parts such as mirrors or lamp units.
• Enclose a copy of the invoice or delivery note.
• Preferably use the original packaging if it is still available.
• Use the return form that we will send you when you register your return.
Business customers (B2B)
Different return conditions may apply to business customers.
For example: no right of withdrawal and returns only under pre-agreed conditions.
