Can I use E10 - Euro95 for my MX5? We use E10 for our MX5 loaner cars. Almost all gasoline cars can generally handle E10, with a few exceptions here and there. The number after the E indicates the amount of bio-ethanol blended in. In E10-gasoline, up to ten percent ethanol is blended in, and in E5, up to five percent. All new cars can handle E10-gasoline, but this is not the case for all older cars. In these cars, the higher concentration of bio-ethanol over time can cause damage to pipes and gaskets, among other things. Of course, it remains your own choice what gasoline to use for your own MX5.
What is the sound of the MX5 stainless steel exhaust? We find this a difficult question to answer because it is so personal. We describe the sound as a nice sporty sound. You can hear it, but it is certainly not annoying while driving. You can choose between a stainless steel single or double exhaust for theNA, NB - NBFL and NC.
Where can I find the chassis number of my MX5? Among other things, it can be found on your license plate. The chassis plate can be found in the passenger side door post. On the NA - NB - NBFL and NC (1989 - 2015), you can find the stamped chassis number under the hood. On the ND (2015 - present), you can find the stamped chassis number under the passenger side mat.
When is my car due for MOT? About 6 weeks before the MOT-expiration date, you will receive notification from the RDW to remind you about the MOT. How often the MX5 needs to be inspected depends on its age. The first inspection is after 4 years from the first MOT, then after 2 years, then again 2 years and then every year after that.
What if my MOT has expired? When the MOT is expired, the vehicle may no longer be driven. Unless you are on your way to the garage for the MOT and you can also prove this with an appointment confirmation. This applies until no later than 2 months after the MOT-expiration date. If the MX5 has not been inspected after two months, you will receive a fine from the CJIB.
I would like to schedule an MOT on a Saturday, is that possible? No, it is not possible anywhere in the Netherlands to have an MOT inspection performed on a Saturday. This is because your MX5 MOT has to be signed out at the RDW and this is not available on Saturdays. To make an appointment, you can fill out the Make a Workshop Appointment form.
What is a random test? The RDW performs a random test in about 3% of the APK-inspections performed in the Netherlands. A random check means that the RDW performs the APK-inspection again. This reinspection must be started within 90 minutes after the APK has been performed. Between inspections, the MX5 is not allowed to leave our premises. We only know whether the convertible is selected for the random inspection after we have completed the MOT of your MX5. You are required to cooperate with the RDW-random check. This random check is carried out to check the quality of the APK-inspections.
Can I drive carefree for a year with an approved MOT? Your car is inspected on certain points, this is a snapshot. For example, an oil check is not a standard part of the MOT. This is included during the major service where the filters and spark plugs are replaced, among other things. So it remains important to have your car checked and serviced every other year or every 20,000km.
Do you also record the maintenance in the Mazda program? The service intervals of your Mazda MX5 NC and ND are digitally recorded by us in Mazda's digital service program.
Can I wait during the maintenance and or the MOT? Yes, that is certainly possible, the coffee or tea with sweets are ready for you. While waiting you can use free WiFi in our cafeteria.
Do you also repair damaged windows? You can also come to us for glass damage, from a small star to windshield replacement.
Is replacement transportation available? We have several replacement cars within our company. Including some of the first and second generation of the MX5. If an MX5 is available, we will give you one, so you don't have to do without the sunroof and you can keep driving while we work on your car. The use of a loan car is free, we only ask that you refuel it and bring it back to us. If you come from further afield, there is plenty to do in the area.
If an item is in stock in the webshop, is it really in stock? If you can order the product and it says In stock, then it is actually with us at the company and we can deliver your order. We try to give orders ordered before three in the afternoon the same day with the carrier. Used parts in some cases have a longer delivery time.

If I chose "pick up in store", when can I pick it up? As soon as we receive your order we will send it to our warehouse and our warehouse staff will contact you by phone when it is ready. For used parts, it may take a little longer because some parts still need to be disassembled.
What delivery package and warranty do you offer when buying an MX5? In addition to the major service, the car is delivered with a new MOT and we also offer a three-month warranty on the MX5. For us this means that you have warranty on any defects that appear or defects that were not noticeable at the time of sale, this includes wear and tear parts.
