At De Cabriohoeve, we’re looking for an all-around logistics employee who enjoys keeping the warehouse in tip-top order and contributing ideas on how to make things run more efficiently.

De Cabriohoeve is a warm and down-to-earth family business in Gasselte, specializing in Mazda MX-5. We provide parts, maintenance, and upgrades to customers throughout Europe via our online store and in our workshop.

What will you be doing?

• Pick orders, check them, pack them, and prepare them for shipment
• Receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming goods administratively
• Storing items in the correct locations and maintaining inventory records
• Keep the warehouse neat, organized, and easy to navigate (layout, labels, walking routes)
• Process inventory changes and contribute ideas for improvements
• Coordinate daily with colleagues in the warehouse, workshop, and office
• Calling customers when parts are ready for pickup
• Help develop the logistics process for our new warehouse

Who are we looking for?

We’re not looking for an “order picker who waits for assignments.”
We’re looking for someone who shows initiative, thinks proactively, and isn’t afraid to take responsibility.

You’ll be a good fit for us if you:

• Can see for yourself what needs to be done and likes to get things done
• Think logically and value structure (“there’s a smarter way to do this”)
• Work neatly and carefully (parts and orders must be correct)
• Get along easily with coworkers and communicate clearly
• Are comfortable with administrative tasks and computer systems
• Enjoys working in a team with direct lines of communication
• Experience in logistics or warehousing is a plus, but we value motivation and initiative more than your resume.

We believe it’s important that it’s a good fit for both sides. That’s why you’re always welcome to spend an hour shadowing someone in the warehouse.

Do I have to be an MX-5 nerd to work here?
Not at all. You’ll pick it up as you go. What’s more important is that you work neatly and methodically.

Can I come by first to get a feel for the atmosphere?
Yes! You’re always welcome to spend an hour shadowing us in the warehouse.

Is this just moving boxes around, or is there more to it?
Definitely more. It’s an all-around role: order picking, shipping, processing incoming shipments, and keeping the warehouse organized.

Will I be working shifts?
No. We have fixed daytime hours.

32 or 40 hours… what are you really looking for?
We’re looking for someone to work 32–40 hours, to be discussed. What matters most to us is finding the right person.

What does an average workday look like at De Cabriohoeve?
You’ll process orders and incoming goods, keep the warehouse neatly organized, and coordinate with the workshop and office.

Will I be overwhelmed by rush and chaos?
No. We actually want calm, clarity, and structure. You’ll help make that happen.

Is this job just order picking?
No, definitely not. It’s actually quite varied: order processing, stock locations, receiving, administrative tasks, and contributing ideas for improvements. It can even be expanded to include retrieving parts and convertibles, if you’d like.

Do I need to know about MX-5 parts?
It’s nice to know, but not required. You’ll receive training, so you’ll learn quickly.

Do you have set working hours?
Yes. During the day. We’ll work out the schedule together.

Can I also work 32 hours?
Yes, that’s possible. 32–40 hours per week is negotiable.

What kind of colleague are you really looking for?
Someone who takes initiative, works neatly, thinks logically, and sees what needs to be done.

Can I shadow someone for a day before I say yes?
That would be great. Then you’ll know right away if it’s a good fit.

What are the terms and conditions like?
Terms of employment in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement (CAO), pension accrual, and travel expense reimbursement as per company policy.
