MX5 hood insulation mat ND

This original Mazda insulation mat mounts on the inside of the hood of the Mazda MX5 ND. The mat provides attenuation of engine noise and reduces resonance towards the interior.

Although this insulation mat is not standard on all versions, it is a commonly used upgrade to reduce noise levels in the car and improve driving comfort.

In addition to noise reduction, the mat also has an insulating effect against heat, reducing temperature influences on the hood. Mounting is done directly on the inside of the hood via the original mounting points.
