MX5 Power steering return hose manual

This original Mazda return hose is part of the power steering system of the Mazda MX5 NB and NBFL. The hose connects the expansion tank to the power steering system and provides return flow of hydraulic oil.

Unlike the high-pressure line, this hose operates at low pressure, but is essential for proper flow and operation of the system.

Over time, the hose can age, dry out or leak, which often manifests itself in oil marks, a falling fluid level or a heavier steering car. Replacement prevents further wear and tear on the power steering pump and keeps the system functioning reliably.
