The entire package is designed to enhance the daily driving experience. It is intended for MX-5 enthusiasts who want to get the most out of their convertible. The package represents the culmination of BBR’s development process. They spent more than two years fully developing the package, both mechanically and electronically.

Some find the standard 2.0L engine lacking at higher RPMs. The “Super 200” package, on the other hand, truly excels above 5,500 RPM. The package delivers high performance and throttle response all the way up to the rev limiter. BBR’s “Super 200” package boosts your MX-5’s power by up to 45 pk. Peak power reaches 205 pk at 6,950 rpm. Torque reaches an impressive 243 Nm at 4,950 rpm.

Performance tests show that, when the optional exhaust components are also installed, the 0–100 km/h time is reduced from 7.3 seconds to 5.65. However, the numbers only tell half the story. The quality of the package is such that power and torque are improved across the entire rpm range. As a result, you gain an additional 41 Nm of torque at just 3,500 rpm. This ensures that the car remains user-friendly and well-suited for everyday driving.

When you upgrade the exhaust system with BBR stainless steel parts, peak power will even increase to 214 pk. Torque will then rise to 248 Nm. The exhilarating sound will make every drive an experience.
