When tuning the engine of an MX-5 NBFL (2001–2005), the air supply, ignition, and engine cooling, among other things, must be properly coordinated. Especially when making modifications to the intake, it is important that the engine management system’s sensors continue to measure and transmit the correct values. Only then can the engine continue to operate reliably and with proper tuning.
