Parking Brake

The parking brake on an MX5 NBFL (2001–2005) is mechanically connected to the rear brakes via cables. The parking brake lever and its trim are located next to the center console, while the components of the parking brake system are located further down and toward the rear of the car. Play, excessive travel, or insufficient braking performance can result from improper adjustment, wear, or seized parts.
