When cornering, the left and right sides of the Mazda MX-5 NC (2005–2015) chassis move differently. A stabilizer bar links these movements and limits body roll, working in conjunction with the springs and shock absorbers. Reinforcement brackets also connect mounting points on the body or suspension, so that the structure is less likely to deform at those points under load.
