The exhaust system of the Mazda MX-5 NC (2005–2015) carries exhaust gases from the engine to the rear of the car. The gases enter the system through the exhaust manifold and then pass through the various exhaust components. The rear muffler reduces exhaust noise, while the visible tailpipes define the look under the rear bumper.
