The electric window system in the Mazda MX5 NC (2005 - 2015) uses a window motor to move the side glass. The window switch determines the motor’s direction of rotation, driving the window regulator. The regulator raises or lowers the glass along its guides. Poor electrical contacts or resistance in the guides can slow or interrupt window movement.
