In everyday use of the Mazda MX5 NC (2005 - 2015), the floor mats, trim and pedal rubbers see plenty of wear. Mats collect dirt from your shoes, while trim panels conceal the bodywork and mounting points. Clips and other fixings hold these parts in place. Behind the seats, the wind deflector has a different job: it interrupts part of the airflow that returns into the cabin with the roof down.
