The audio system in the Mazda MX5 NC (2005 - 2015) processes audio signals and drives the speakers. A Bose-equipped model includes a separate amplifier. Behind the radio in the dashboard are the connections for power, the aerial and audio output. The radio, amplifier and speakers must be electrically compatible to reproduce sound correctly.
