BBR Super 225 high power atmospheric tuning package for the Mazda MX-5 NC 2.0l models (2005 - 2015). The entire package is designed to enhance the daily driving experience. The package is designed for you MX 5 enthusiasts who want to get everything out of their convertible. The ultimate non-turbo tuning package from Mazda tuning specialist BBR GTI.

Produces a bench proven 224 hp at 7550 rpm and 174 Nm torque at 5950 rpm.
Mazda characteristics and electronic safety features are retained.

Can be retrofitted as a complete package or as an add-on-upgrade for existing BBR Super 200-customers.

The BBR 'Super 225' is a beautiful upgrade that is the result of many months of in-house mechanical, electronic and chassis development. Available as a complete package for a drive-in, drive-out installation on the standard 2.0-liter Mazda MX-5 NC, or as a retro-fit on BBR Super 200 equipped cars.

The complete BBR Super 225 tuning package for the 2.0l Mazda MX-5 NC consists of the following components:

- BBR stainless steel 4 to 1 exhaust manifold (optional catted version)
- BBR high-quality intake and exhaust camshafts
- BBR front fender and trunk lid badges
- Custom-made BBR aluminum ram pipe support/support plate (carbon-fiber option available)
- Custom made BBR DBW-system - full OEM ECU-integration
- Custom-made BBR air rail for MAP and servo power supply
- Curved aluminum intake ram pipe extensions
- CNC-milled 20 mm aluminum intake rampipes - black and silver anodized for a discreet OEM-style appearance
- BBR StarChip ECU remap
- BBR-foam air filter

The end result is a mighty 224 hp at 7550 rpm, combined with maximum torque of 174 LBFT torque at 5950 rpm. More than 170 LBFT torque is available from 4000 - 6000 rpm, with more than 150 LBFT torque from as little as 3000 rpm up to the 7800 rpm rev limiter (NC-models limited to 7500 rpm) - Emphasizing the user-friendly nature of the conversion that is rideable daily and ideally suited for city, touring and track days. The sound is not to be missed. The tough engine sound is present in the cabin. The exciting sound will make every ride an experience.

Careful development by BBR has ensured that despite the significant performance improvement, the Super 225-upgrade fully complies with emissions regulations and operates on fuel with an octane rating of 98 or 95 (E5 - E10).

The BBR Super 225 package can also be installed on the Mazda MX-5 NC 1.8l. The power here will be between 190 and 195hp.
