Shock absorbers and springs

Shock absorbers and springs are an important part of the suspension of a Mazda MX5 NA (1989 - 1997).
The springs catch movements of the road surface while the shock absorbers dampen this movement in a controlled manner.
Together, they ensure that the wheels remain in contact with the road surface. These components also form the basis for modifications such as coilovers in the car's suspension.
