Battery and mounting

In the engine compartment of a Mazda MX5 NA (1989 - 1997), the battery forms the basis of the car's electrical power supply.
Via battery cables, power is supplied to the starter motor, lights and other systems.
The battery is held firmly in place with various clamps and holders so that it cannot move while driving.
Through the wiring harness and electrical connections in the car's engine compartment, this power is further distributed to the various systems.
