Soft top

The soft top of a Mazda MX5 NA (1989 - 1997) forms the flexible roof of the MX5 and protects the interior from rain, wind and dirt. The hood is stretched over the frame and connects to the windshield and bodywork to seal the cabin. During use, the hood is opened and closed periodically, its operation depending on the mechanism and hinge points of the car's hood frame, which ensure smooth movement.
