Throughout the Mazda MX5 NA (1989 - 1997) runs a wiring harness that connects all the electrical systems. Bundles of wiring run through the engine compartment, dashboard and interior of the car. Ground cables and terminal blocks ensure that power and signals are reliably transmitted to sensors, switches and modules, including the car's electronic engine management.
