Spark plug cables connect the ignition to the spark plugs on a Mazda MX5 NA (1989 - 1997) and ensure that electrical voltage is transmitted at each cylinder. These cables run across the engine block and are a visible part of the ignition system. They are mounted around the upper part of the engine where the spark plugs are located.
