The radiator of a Mazda MX-5 NA (1989–1997) is located at the front of the car and cools the coolant flowing through the engine block. Heat is dissipated by airflow and ventilation, allowing the coolant to return to the engine. The flow is regulated by the thermostat, which controls the coolant flow into the engine based on temperature.
