The antenna of a Mazda MX5 NA (1989 - 1997) takes care of receiving radio signals sent to the radio. Depending on version, this can be a fixed antenna spike or an electric antenna that rises automatically when the radio is turned on. Power and control are via fuses and wiring, after which the radio signal is processed by the audio system in the car's dashboard.
