Gaskets and seals

Gaskets and seals in the transmission of a Mazda MX5 NA (1989 - 1997) may seem like small parts, but they are very important to the life of the transmission. They keep transmission oil where it belongs and keep moisture, dirt and other outside influences out of the system. Especially around shafts, retaining rings and connecting surfaces, a good seal is essential, because this is where constant movement and load come together.
