Oil

Engine oil in a Mazda MX5 NA (1989 - 1997) keeps moving parts in the engine block lubricated and less likely to wear out. In addition, oil helps to dissipate heat and carry contaminants to the filter. While the engine is running, oil is pumped around through the oil pump in the car's engine block, providing continuous lubrication to bearings, pistons and other internal parts.
