MX5 NA Wink Module 1x

This module makes it easy to perform the famous “wink”—the headlight flash often seen in the MX5-community. Compatible with the Mazda MX5 NA (1989–1998).

Because the module detects the headlight’s current position, it can control it to move up or down. If the headlight is already raised, it is commanded to lower. If the headlight is lowered, it is raised instead. This means you no longer have to manually operate the headlights to perform the famous MX5 “-” greeting.

This “winking” module is easily installed between the original headlight motor connectors, eliminating the need for complicated modifications to the original wiring. The switch for this is included and can be mounted by you in a suitable location inside the cabin.

This module allows one headlight to move up and down independently of the other using the included switch. The module that controls both headlights and allows them to move up and down independently of each other is item 0101NA22.
