Switches and Relays

In a Mazda MX5 NA (1989–1997), many electrical functions are controlled by switches and relays.
Switches transmit signals when a system is activated, while relays can safely switch larger electrical circuits.
For example, temperature switches and sensors transmit signals to various systems in the car via the vehicle’s wiring harness and electrical connections.
