The cooling system of a Mazda MX5 NA (1989 - 1997) keeps the engine block at the correct temperature while driving. Coolant circulates through the engine and is cooled through the radiator at the front of the car. The flow is controlled by several components, including the thermostat in the engine's cooling system, which determines when the coolant will circulate.
