Brake calipers on an MX5 NB (1998–2000) are constantly exposed to heat cycles, brake dust, moisture, and debris kicked up from the road. As a result, over time, you’ll often see discoloration or surface rust develop on parts that are still technically in good working order. A good coating provides better protection for the surface and keeps the brake assembly looking clean longer. When the other brake components around the rotors and pads are also in top condition, the entire wheel area immediately looks more well-maintained.
