Soft Top

The soft top of an MX5 NB (1998–2000) fits against the windshield, side windows, and body. The window mechanism that allows the side windows to align with the soft top is crucial for ensuring the side windows sit correctly against the rubber seals. Due to age, sunlight, and moisture, the soft top can harden, shrink, or become damaged. Seams, fasteners, and the seal around the rear window also require attention.
