The oil hoses on an MX5 NB (1998–2000) carry oil between various components and must be able to withstand pressure, heat, and vibrations. Gaskets and seals around connections and moving parts are also important for ensuring a properly sealed oil circuit. Hardened rubber, damage, or small leaks should therefore be addressed promptly.
