In an MX5 NB (1998 - 2000), the seating position largely determines how direct the car feels. Because driver, pedals, steering wheel and shifter are close together, you notice support, material, adjustment and the comfort of seat heating immediately during every drive. Wear here often occurs slowly from boarding, load on side cheeks and movement in rails or mounting. When the surrounding parts of seat rails, floor side and electrical connections are also in neat order, the cabin feels solid and familiar again.
