Gasoline tank

In the back of an MX5 NB (1998 - 2000) is the fuel tank, where the fuel is safely stored before being fed toward the engine. While driving, the fuel constantly moves with braking, acceleration and cornering, while at the same time the system must maintain a constant supply. Around the tank are pipes, vent parts and connections that together ensure a stable fuel supply. Moreover, because the tank is placed low in the body, it is close to the structural parts of the underbody that are exposed to moisture, dirt and stone chips on a daily basis, so protection and good condition remain important.
