A luggage rack on a Mazda MX5 NB (1998 - 2000) provides additional space for luggage without burdening the limited trunk space. The rack attaches to fixed mounting points, and in doing so, it must fit securely to the trunk lid and mounting areas at the rear of the convertible, so that loads are distributed neatly across the bodywork.
