In the center of the MX5 NB (1998–2000) cockpit, the center console connects various controls and interior panels. This is where components such as the gearshift, parking brake, storage compartments, and various switches come together in one central area of the interior. Due to daily use, this part of the interior takes a lot of wear and tear, which can lead to visible signs of wear, scratches, or damaged mounting points over time. Precisely because the console is directly connected to the components used for shifting and driving, a clean fit and finish are immediately noticeable on every drive.
