Audio system

The audio system of an MX5 NB (1998 - 2000) consists of more than just a radio and a pair of speakers. Behind the scenes, cabling, connections, antenna, amplification and controls work together to reproduce sound clearly and without interference. Especially on a roadster, an audio system faces additional challenges from wind noise, vibration and changing weather conditions. On older cars, failures often arise from wear and tear in plugs, wiring or contact points. When the system's radio-reception and antenna provision also work properly, the sound quality remains as stable as possible.
