Mudflaps

Around the wheel arches of a Mazda MX5 NB (1998 - 2000) the sheet metal gets a lot of wear from splashing water, sand and stones carried by the tires. Mud flaps catch much of that before dirt settles against paint, sills or the lower edges of the bodywork. Especially on cars that regularly drive in wet conditions, you often see that precisely these areas are especially prone to wear and tear. Combined with a neat connection to the outside around the wheel arches, the whole remains tighter and better protected for longer.
