MX5 PCV Valve

A PCV valve for your Mazda MX-5 NB (1998–2000) with a 1.8L engine.

This valve recirculates unburned gasoline back into the intake manifold for a new combustion cycle (a piston never seals 100%).

If the PCV valve is defective, the pressure in other parts of the engine is often incorrect.
When replacing this part, you should also replace the rubber collar that holds the valve in place. It is also recommended that you inspect the valve hose.
